Covid-19 testing

Marcus and I had our first Covid-19 tests done yesterday. I was impressed with how smoothly the process went. We made an on-line appointment for drive-through testing at the Dodgers Stadium, it was organized by the City of Los Angeles, free, and we had the results within 24 hours! NEGATIVE! All ready now to take our flights in a couple of days...

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated by having a BBQ and watching the fireworks on Mt. Washington Drive!

Happy B-day to myself!

I got spoiled today! Took the day off from work and was treated to Lily-made cupcakes for breakfast! Had my hair done (hairdresser just opened up again). Spent time on the phone trying to rebook our flights to Europe (more on that in another post). Had al fresco dinner at Katsuya in the Americana*.

*About dinner: even though it was great to get out and have one of my favorite foods (sushi), I didn't feel 100% comfortable. There were just too many people around NOT wearing masks. We decided we won't be coming back to the Americana anytime soon...
