| Visiting Stuttgart! |
After Iceland, Lily and Ennio flew on to
Germany, and spent the rest of their summer holidays there with our families. They stayed with Opa Gerhard for a few days and then moved on to Oma Eva's place. Marcus was there with them for the first 12 days, then he returned to L.A. and I went back to Europe! I spent 4 days in Belgium and the remainder (8 days) in Stuttgart, Germany. We had a wonderful time! I especially enjoyed seeing Lily and Ennio together with ALL of their cousins: Mia (Tobi and Katja's girl) and Amélie, Robbe and Jolien (Wouter and Charlotte's kids). This was the first time they were all together in the same place at the same time!!! It was great! The kids did so many fun things - I don't even know where to start. Here are some photos of the six of them together!
(FYI, Amélie and Mia are both 10 years old, Robbe is almost 9, Lily almost 8, Ennio 5 and Jolientje 4. I love this age group!!!)
Thank you, Oma and Opa, and Wouter and Charlotte, for making the trek to Germany just to be able to spend time with us. You guys are the best!!!
