I can't remember our last days of school were filled with so many fun activities...
This was Lily's last week in Third Grade:
Monday-Pajama Day: Relax and get ready for summer by wearing your favorite pajama. Bring a stuffie to snuggle with while we watch a fun film.
Tuesday-Game Day: Wear gear from your favorite sports team. Bring your favorite board or card game to play with your third grade friends.
Wednesday-Camp Third Grade: Bring a sack lunch and blanket or towel to enjoy a picnic with your pals. Flashlights can be brought for campfire stories in the classroom.
Thursday-Water Day: Bring a change of clothes and a towel, we will be playing with water balloons and eating popsicles.
Lucky kids!

Another busy weekend!
Friday, June 1: Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony!
Lily bridged from Brownie to Junior! She's part of a really fun girl scouts troop and is so proud to be a Junior now! Congratulations, Lily!
Saturday, June 2: What a busy morning!
Lily had her last day of Dutch School + we celebrated "Cultuurdag" as well!
At noon, she had her Violin Concert at Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale. She played Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 - Allegretto (arrangement); Ann, Dan and Egbert by Sheila Nelson; and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (traditional).
Ennio was busy too. He had his swim class (Marcus took him) and then the 7th Birthday party of his best friend Miles. After the party, which was from 10 till 12 noon, Marcus and Ennio rushed to the church and still got there in time to watch Lily perform (luckily, her group didn't play in the beginning but more towards the end of the recital).
Since we were in Glendale, we had a late lunch at the Americana and of course, Ennio just had to go to the Tesla Store and sit in all of the Tesla's. It's one of his favorite places, for sure!
Sunday, June 3: Relax, write this blog, get ready for the last week of school, and... start packing for our big trip to... New Zealand!!! Can't believe we're leaving in 8 days! Woohoo!
